Assignments: Chapter 1

 This week, we are starting our exploration of sociology by looking at the basics behind the study of sociology including what it is, why we study it, what sociologists do and the social world model.  Here are your assignments for this week:

1. Read chapter 1
2. Complete the video assignment over the introduction to sociology
3. Attend the first meeting of the class.  (See the announcements for the dates, times, and location)  The meeting will last 1 1/2 to 2 hours!  THIS IS LECTURE and MANDATORY!
